Facilities: recently refurbished now offers large dancefloor long curved bar. Upstairs sometimes open for live bands whilst the club continues downstairs
Review: The best atmosphere of any club in ipswich, the Dj's will play anything you want, the beers cheap and everybody has a good time. The yalso give away alot of prizes -dvd's videos skate t-shirts/hoodies. Even gave away a guitar on boxing day!
Other: They have another big party on the 17th April for easter, which means that upstairs will be open and a band called Cousin Joey playing, loads of prizes to give away aswell and its open later- 9-2

Facilities: Ł1.50 selected drinks. Big events on holidays eg. Halloween, Valentines day etc, opening two floors, one with live bands.
Review: Friendly atmosphere with beer and vodka at the right price! With a range of new and old music.

Facilities: Newly decorated and highly impressive it is too. Many different zones with lengthy bars, television screens, 'cages', tables, large dancefloor, balcony
Review: Gets very busy and attracts a wide-range of people, from trendies to hardcore metallers. Everyone usually mixes well as it is a student orientated night.
Other: Upstairs is now metal early on and switches to Garage and r'n'b later on. Downstairs is a mix of predictable metal, hip-hop, indie, rock, cheese, pop and classics. Something for everyone to like and hate.

Review: Several local DJs that play a lot of requests, gets quite busy. Friendly atmosphere
Other: Rock etc. downstairs different stuff each week on level 2 inc. hip hop, breakbeat, soul and indie and trance
The only decent place to go in this area, I always have a good night there, very reliable!!

Facilities: Bar, Cloakroom, chill-out space, Huge dancefloor, chair and tables.
Review: A place for very young people. Older teenagers + are advised to get pissed before venturing. Generally friendly, however.
Other: One to send your alternative little brother or sister to whilst you check out somewhere else!

Haunted Hangar is a club night - venue is also a cinema, band venue and specialist area

Facilities: Typical pub, very small, back garden for nice weather, dodgy toilets, recently redecorated - sadly removing the gothic interior it used to have. Snooker table, not quite enough tables and chairs. Games machine.
Review: Where everyone who is alternative in Ipswich congregates. People are normally 18+ and generally all know each other. Outsiders need have no fear, however. Many goths and metallers to be found.
Other: More empty on weeknights, but sometimes busy Fridays. Saturdays is the metal disco which belts out rock of all types, and much goth too. Very noisy and sometimes very busy. Cheap promotions during the week, I think.
