The Fat Surfer (more info)
79, london road, Grays

Admission: 3 every other friday 20:00 - 00:00
Music: AOR / Retro / Rock / Metal / Industrial / Goth / Punk / Alternative
Facilities: Cheap bar prices (1.80 for a pint of guinness!) cos its a working mens club all other times!! Good clean bogs, near to railway station on fenchurch street line.
Review: The surfer has been going for 2 and a half years, gaining a cult following in the south east. Unsigned bands from all over the country are clamouring to play there! Inside its all U.V's, sparkly lights and sweaty people!! Ecstatic and loads of crowd surfing!!
Other: The club is dedicated to supporting unsigned acts in Essex and the UK in General. They dont run the club to make money as the organisers are all musicians. probably why theyve got so successful! All the bands get paid for playing. The sound crew are branching out now, and can be found every other tuesday upstairs at VIVID and ELITE!
