Biggleswade
White Hart (more info)
22-24 Market Square, Biggleswade SG18 8AR (map)
Tel: 01767 314219

Admission: Free Daily Normal Pub Times -
Venue: Pub
Music: Wide range of style, featuring local, unsigned bands
Facilities: good beers, great juke box, specialist in giving an arena to small, local, unsigned bands, who we should ALL support or live music is going to die for us rural folk!
Review: Great midweek and weekends, friday nights can be a little stuffed with the "Ben Sherman" brigade.
Other: This is a pub that could use the support of rock\goth\metal fans from the area as it is trying to meet our needs but is too small to appear regulary on gig guides. Look out for COARSE on 14th November 2000. Re appearing after a break to write and perfect new material. Free entry and a lot of loud music! Come and get it :o)

Admission: £1.50 Friday 8:15pm - 11pm
Venue: Pub
Music: Rock / Metal / Goth / Alternative
Drinks: Beer is reasonably priced
Facilities: Once you enter the pub, you go upstairs and pay on the door. There is a bar and its generally pretty easy to get served. Rock/Metal Dj chucks out vibes in the next room. Toilets seem to be okay, but you have to go downstairs for them
Review: Not too bad, needs more support, DJ's generally pretty good though. In the room with the tunes its just a little too loud to talk properly but the room with the bar is fine. Mix of people and styles of tunes from Slayer, Zombie Cooper & offspring etc

Park Street, Luton

Venue: Nightclub
Music: Rock / Metal / Punk / Alternative
Facilities: Drinks are reasonable - £2.70 for a bottle of VK orange or WKD etc etc. Toilets are placed centrally in the club but can be a bit waterlogged from time to time :-S
Review: There are three to four dj's to choose from. Its more rock downstairs with a little drum and bass and indie where as upstairs is more metal and punk. There is also slight hip hop tendencies which can't be bad. Everyone there is friendly and a good night is had by all.
Other: Quite diverse depending upon the dj's and their guests. There is going to be a reading after party there on the Bank Holiday Monday with drinks at £1.50 all day. There will be lots of dj's and local bands - 3pm to 12am
